In the sport of surfing, pushing yourself and surfboard through an oncoming wave as you’re paddling out is known as a duck dive. These American Wigeons and Common Goldeneye – common coastal dabbling ducks – showed how the experts do it as they surfed in to nab juicy morsels of seaweed then paddled furiously back out to sea before getting tumbled onto the beach. A lot of fun to watch!
